Shenzhen Bay Culture Square D-Talk Roundtable Forum
On 20 March 2026, the Shenzhen Bay Culture Square D-Talk Roundtable Forum was held in Shenzhen, aiming to promote interdisciplinary communication between cultural professionals and the general public.
During the session, Mr. Felix Kwok, Chief Creative Officer and Deputy Director of Shenzhen Bay Culture Square, delivered a keynote speech in which he noted that Shenzhen, drawing on the open and pragmatic historical legacy of the Greater Bay Area and the strategic advantages of Shenzhen‑Hong Kong synergy, is building a future‑oriented cultural ecosystem centred on technology, design, youth, and innovation.
The guest speakers included Ms. Ruolei Zhong, Manager of the Design Department at Rongbaozhai (Guangzhou & Shenzhen) and Executive Curator of "The Spirit of Zhong"; Mr. Hao Chen, a member of the Xiling Seal Engravers' Society; and Mr. Vincent Wu, Senior Researcher of the ArtX Hong Kong Institute (ArtX HK) and Founder of CURATOR Group. The discussion explored topics including collecting culture, intangible cultural heritage, the value of craftsmanship, and approaches to public engagement. Through multi-perspective discussions, the forum examined the essence of traditional art collecting and its enduring cultural significance.
