On 10 August 2026, Mr. Dickson YEUNG, Deputy Chief Manager (AI and Data Science) of the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES) of the HKSAR Government, alongside Dr. Yuan PAN, Chief Representative in Hong Kong of AIsphere—a leading enterprise in AI video generation—visited the City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) ArtX Hong Kong Institute (ArtX HK). The delegation held a meeting with Prof. Jennifer LIN, Associate Vice-President (Global Strategy) and Director of ArtX HK, and a multidisciplinary team of scholars. The discussions revolved around AI video creation, innovative talent cultivation, and industry-academic-research cooperation, exploring future collaboration opportunities.

During the meeting, Prof. Fen LIN presented ArtX HK's established achievements and future focus areas in driving ArtTech, cultural innovation, and research, while AIsphere representatives showcased the technological innovations and application prospects of their company and flagship product, PixVerse, in global AI video generation. Prof. LIN and the CityUHK delegation subsequently engaged in discussions with the visiting guests to explore how to combine complementary resources and strengths to open up diversified collaborative pathways.

CityUHK representatives attending the meeting also included Prof. Shiqi WANG, ArtX HK Core Member, Associate Dean of the College of Computing and Professor in the Department of Computer Science; Prof. Jing LIAO, ArtX HK Core Member and Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science; Prof. Linqi SUNG, Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science; Prof. Patrick HUNG, Adjunct Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering; and representative from the Development Office. In addition, Mr. Zhengkun HU, Vice President and Head of Public Affairs, and Ms. Xinyi WU, Head of Content Partnerships at AIsphere, joined the discussion online.
