Program Overview

ArtX HK and CAFA Art Museum Sign MoU

On June 27, 2026, a delegation from City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) visited the CAFA Art Museum and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation between ArtX Hong Kong Institute (ArtX HK) and the CAFA Art Museum. This collaboration aims to promote and deepen the strategic partnership between the two institutions in areas such as international art curating, emerging art forms, creative talent cultivation, and global artist exchanges.

The CityUHK delegation consists of: Professor Chun Lu, Vice-President (Mainland Strategy) at CityUHK; Professor Fen Lin, Associate Vice-President (Global Strategy) at CityUHK and Director of ArtX HK; Professor Michael Tse, Associate Vice-President (Innovation) at CityUHK and Core Member of ArtX HK; Professor Jianping Wang, Dean of the College of Computing at CityUHK; and Professor Feng Lin, Dean of the School of Law at CityUHK.

The representatives from the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) and related organisations include: Professor Yang Yu, Vice President of the CAFA; Professor Jun Jin, Director of the CAFA Art Museum and Executive Director of the Beijing Jin Shangyi Art Foundation; Professor Chuan Wang, Director of International Cooperation and Communication Office of the CAFA; Professor Xiaochu Lin, Director of the Academic Affairs Office of the CAFA; Professor Jun Hai, Deputy Director of the CAFA Art Museum and Director of National Design Management Institute of CAFA; Ms. Gao Gao, Deputy Director of the CAFA Art Museum; Mr. David Fucha, Member of the Academic Project Development Committee of the Beijing Jin Shangyi Art Foundation; and Ms. Sharon Chen, Secretary-General of the Beijing Jin Shangyi Art Foundation.
