Visit by Bauhinia Culture Group

On 9 April 2026, a delegation from the Bauhinia Culture Group visited the Department of Media and Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK).

During the visit, the delegation toured key facilities, including the Omnimedia Digital Newsroom, the 3D Virtual TV Studio, and the Advertising Design and Production Studio, gaining an in-depth understanding of the learning environment, extensive curriculum, and equipment available to students in COM.

The delegation members included Ms. Lijun Xue (Deputy General Manager), Mr. Hongwei Zhou (Head of General Management), Mr. Dongxiao Zhao (Editor-in-Chief, Sino United Publishing), Mr. Xiaohua Huang (Vice President, Bauhinia Magazine), Ms. Miao Miao (Associate Head of General Management), Mr. Ji Zhou (General Manager, Hong Kong United Arts Entertainment), and Ms. Candice Choi (Associate Director of General Management).

The delegation was warmly received by CityUHK representatives, including Professor Fen Lin, Associate Vice-President (Global Strategy), Professor at COM, and Director of ArtX Hong Kong Institute (ArtX HK); Professor Xiaofan Liu, Associate Professor at COM and member of ArtX HK; Professor Vincent Xiaohui Wang, Assistant Professor at COM; Ms. Pheck Choo Ng, Director of the Global Engagement Office; Mr. Perkins Ho, Director of the Development Office; and Mr. Haosen Sun, Development Manager of the Development Office.
